How admission works

- 2 Visit and counsellingTour the departments, labs and hostels; meet the head of the department you prefer.
- 3 AllotmentTNEA allotment letter for government quota, or a seat offer from the college for management quota.
- 4 Confirm your seatSubmit documents and pay the first instalment online or at the campus office.

Government quota — TNEA counselling
Choose AKT MCET with counselling code 1441 during Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions.
Management quota
Apply directly to the college admissions office; eligibility as per Anna University and AICTE norms.
Lateral entry (second year)
Diploma holders through TNEA lateral-entry counselling.

- 10th and 12th mark sheets
- Transfer certificate
- Community certificate
- TNEA allotment order (government quota)
- Aadhaar and passport-size photos
Scholarships and fee support
Government first-graduate and community scholarships are processed by the office; the AKT management offers merit concessions for top cut-off marks.
